Daniel Eaton stands as a true champion of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, dedicating over two decades of exemplary service since 2003. Throughout his tenure, he has held pivotal leadership roles, including Public Affairs Staff Officer, Vice Flotilla Commander, and Flotilla Commander. His outstanding contributions have earned him an impressive array of honors, including two Auxiliary Membership Awards, the Auxiliary Public Education Service Award, ten Auxiliary Operations Service Awards, ten Sustained Auxiliary Service Awards, and the prestigious Auxiliary Operational Excellence Award.

Eaton's commitment to excellence has also been recognized with two Coast Guard Unit Commendations, the Boat Force Operations Insignia, the Presidential Unit Citation, three Auxiliary Commandant’s Letters of Commendation, and seven Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendations. His dedication to public service has led to significant media coverage, with features on ABC7, NBC2, WINK NEWS, and ESPN Radio for his leadership in the Americas Waterway Watch Program and the Fit-Float Campaign.

Eaton’s qualifications are as distinguished as his accolades, encompassing Maine Safety and Environmental Protection, Harbor Safety Specialist, Coast Guard Duty Watchstander, and Public Education Instructor.
