U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boating courses provide instruction to boaters at all levels, from the fundamental to the advanced. Our courses (virtual and classroom) are taught by experienced and knowledgeable CGAUX instructors committed to the highest standards of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Dave joined the Auxiliary in February of 2025 and brought a wealth of experience. He became an Instructor and Vessel Examiner that same year. He has earned the Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation.

The Fort Myers Beach Coast Guard Auxiliary offers the Boat America Safety Class and the Suddenly in Command Safety Seminar.

The Boat America Class is conducted on the third Saturday of the month at the Pine Ridge Community Center (between the Iona McGregor Fire Station 75 and the Lee County Sheriff's West District Office) 15660 Pine Ridge Road, Ft Myers, FL 33908. Register for the next Boating Safety Class.
